Don't worry and take a rest easy because Google has introduced a new verification badge program that will give celebrities to confirm that their profile is the real deal. The verification is indicated via a simple checkmark that is placed alongside to the user's name on their profile. This checkmark doesn't appear elsewhere (such a comments) However, so you will have to check out suspected imposter's profile to see if they are the real deal
