Drive an automobile anywhere in the world using Google Maps

 I know that you always wondered what it would be to drive a car or maybe your car on the congested streets of lower Manhattan in Now York or the scenic Transfăgărășan road in Romania!

Here is Mini Maps, a Flash based Google mashup that lets you drive a virtually car in any street in the whole world using your keyboard controls. Simply select the place that you want to drive on Google Maps; you can either type the address or pick a point on the map visually, and then hit the car accelerator (the up arrow key) to start moving.

Other than the other car-driving based on Google Maps, Mini Maps is clever to recognize the terrain & the roads in your driving area & adds virtual boundaries on either sides of the road as you drive. If the area you have selected for driving is dark, the automobile headlights will turn on automatically or your can press the N key to turn-off the night mode.
